tool based on the changes an individual’s face undergoes
as he or she ages. It gives an immediate and sometimes shocking
look into the future. The software encourages middle and
high school students, as well as adults, to curb their smoking
or, better yet, to never start. APRIL® provides a powerful,
interactive, and innovative look at the harmful effects
of tobacco use on one’s appearance.
APRIL® ages an individual’s face from adolescent
to adulthood both as a non-smoker and as a pack-a-day consumer.

skin tone caused by cigarettes. Designed for use in schools,

prevention programs, and encourages students to make healthy
lifestyle choices.

are based on the actual physical characteristics of aging,
and the effects of cigarette smoking.
